About

I live with my wife, Michele, and three boys in Feasterville, PA. I enjoy reading, working with computers, playing games, and writing music. I spend a good deal of my spare time taking the kids to band practices. I’ve also recently gotten interested in writing Interactive Fiction, and my first completed work of IF, Recess At Last, placed 15th in the 2008 IF Comp.

I love to watch football and hockey, and am a steadfast fan of the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Philadelphia Eagles. I also like to travel. Recent trips have included Disney World, a cruise to Bermuda, a weekend getaway to San Antonio, two summers in the Outer Banks, the Finger Lakes, and the popular tourist destination of Cleveland, Ohio.

We are very active in our church, Christian Life Center. I teach adult classes at the church from time to time, and I coach small group leaders. I am also the lighting director for services and special events, and I am a member of the video projection team for Sunday services.

Professionally, I am an administrator in a suburban Philadelphia school district. I am also the lead designer and webmaster for AllAboutExplorers.com and Quisitivity.org. All About Explorers is featured in Alan November’s list of favorite sites, and the instructional unit my colleagues and I developed around the site was recently published in Toni Buzzeo’s book, Collaborating to Meet Standards: Teacher/Librarian Partnerships for K-6 (2nd ed.). Quisitivity.org is my professional blog, focusing on using technology for differentiation and gifted education.
